Food License
Food License Registration is needed to maintain a food item business. You need to enlist under Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to fabricate, appropriate and transport food items. FSSAI is built up under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The FSSAI has been set up under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. FSSAI Certificate and FSSAI License are same which guarantees the quality, virtue and other significant variables the clients can depend upon.
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India is an autonomous body established under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, under the Government of India. It is headed by a non-executive Chairperson, appointed by the Central Government, either holding or has held the position of not below the rank of Secretary to the Government of India. Being in charge of the entire country, they have their main office in Delhi. They also have smaller regional offices across the country, like in Delhi, Guwahati, Mumbai, Kolkata, Cochin, and Chennai.Each Indian state has its own State FSSA under the Act. Every FSSAI registration and State FSSAI license are issued by the state FSSA in which business operations are set up.
Drug License
Drug license is a permission granted by the competent authority under Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1940 to carry out a business concerning drugs/medicines or cosmetics. In other words, no person can start or continue a business dealing with drugs or cosmetics in India, unless an appropriate license is obtained for the conduct of such activity. Under the purview of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 all types of drugs or cosmetics business is covered including allopathic, homeopathic, ayurvedic or unani drugs. To maintain the quality of drugs and cosmetics is the responsibility of all persons dealing with it. If any person consuming or using a drug or cosmetic suffers any harm from the negligence on the part of the manufacturer or seller the same is an offence, which is triable as an offence of grievous hurt under IPC.
Drug LicenseDrug License is permission from the government to deal with drugs. There are two kinds of license, the retail license and wholesale license of for drug distribution or sale in India. This license is issued subject to certain conditions attached to premises and the competent person who shall be dealing with drugs.
Hospital/PNDT License
Hospital is the main shelter for those who face health problems physically or mentally. Patients are mainly depend hospital canteens for their food. FSSAI-Food safety license Registration also very much mandatory documents in order to address the legal requirement as per food safety act.FSSAI Food safety Registration is mandatory for anyone who intends to do food business. This not only involves preparing food but everyone who handles food at various stages before it ultimately reaches the customer like raw materials, Manufacturing, processing, Mess, Canteen packing and the distribution as well as the agencies who have authority to sell them.
Factory License
As per the Factory Act 1948 it is mandatory for every factory owner to register their premises with the local authorities before commencing their business. Factory License acts as a document of approval given by authorities to carry out manufacturing activities. Department of the Factories and Boilers issues Factory License. It is the duty of Factories and Boilers Department to keep a check on the health, safety and welfare of workers.Factories Act 1948, says that a factory must obtain its building plan approval from the labor and employment department before covering themselves for a factory registration. Under this act, registration and renewal of the Factory license are also done to ensure the safety of workers.
